Tomatoes! Peaches! Nectarines!

I love fruit. I really really do. But can some one tell me please why do all the things I love usually ripen and be ready at the same time? It is almost like a conspiracy. Lots of things to do and little time to do it in. Haven't heard much about the adoption lately so this keeps me busy. And with the economy as it is I don't really mind that much. There is nothing like fresh jam on hot rolls in the cold months of winter. So I guess in order to savor the months to come I must do the work now. Something like the fable of the ant and the grasshopper. No worries though. Just need to get some more pectin and sugar today. My daughter is anxious to get on er bike and get to school and I have work to do. More later perhaps.
