Literally the 11th hour......

Friends, against all odds and without a second to spare I have entered an Artisian Bread and the soon to be famous Rueberry Pie into the Cache county fair. The baked goods building was to be shut at 11 o'clock for judging. I didn't think I would make it. The bread took forever to mix, raise, shape, raise, and then bake. I literally pulled it out of the oven with 10 minutes to get to the fair and get the goods into the building. I met DonNel with the pie and Morgan helped me get it to the door just as the head judge was putting up the sign 'Closed for Judging'. I asked her if I could still enter my good and she looked at my daughter holding the pie and said "Come on in." Well I can say now is that mine was probably the most unique and the freshest loaf there. My pie was the only one like it. For all of you at the party at grammy's recently, it was the same pie I made for the party. Fingers crossed and now we get ready for chickens tomarrow with Morgan. More info to come soon.
