Looking to adopt.

In the past little while I decided to try and give a glimpse to all of you who read this into the life and times of our family. It is rather odd for me to do this because for one thing I don't know how to type fast or well. 'Henpecking' is the term that we used to use for it, thank heaven for spellchecker. I was told, by those that did it, that it would be a way for people to get to know us. And perhaps if they liked us they would want to get to know us more. The 'why' is simple. But even the simple things get complicated. We want to adopt a child or children as the case may be. So I figured, and my wife DonNel agrees, that this blog helps serve that purpose. So if you don't read a lot about adoption in this blog there is a reason for that. The reason for that is that adoption is not the only facet of our lives. I once read that lives are like diamonds, with every choice and experience we make a new facet is cut in our gem.
So when I write about the everyday goings on in our lives here we would want you to get to know the 'real' us. More often than not, it won't be glamorous or earth-shattering. But it will be who we are and what we are about. Just normal people with normal problems trying to work things out in our own unique way. Prepping my parents house for my little sisters wedding and the guests that will be seeing it. Happy Happy Joy Joy.
