The devil is in the details

Trying to get a book for children to the point at which I can get the go ahead to be published is a grind. The illustrations are done but now have to be scanned into the computer. The story is finished, but now needed to be re-edited so the story moves in the right direction according to the age group I am writing for. Back and forth I go and when it will stop nobody knows. I can only hold on to the fact that I am doing it and it will be done. I feel like the charactor "Cliffhanger" on the PBS show "Between the Lions". He is always dangling on the scrawney root off the cliff saying "Can't... Hold.... On... Much.... Longer!!!!" Just got to keep moving forward with what I am doing. At least it takes my mind off the adoption process. Thank heaven I have something to do on the side. Well, I have to go and help out at school today. Let me know what you all think.
