Favors, obligations, and commitments

It seems to me that this time of year I seem to be needing to be in 5 places at once and doing 10 different things at the same time. It is the holidays. Christmas Cards sit that need to be written and mailed. Gifts need to be wrapped and/or hidden. Neighbors need to be visited and given baked goods that still need to be baked. On top of all that my house needs to be cleansed and I am helping out my mother by subbing for her so she can get a root canal done. Loads of joy for her.... I am just glad it is not me. I helped Dad get home for the hospital yesterday after his surgery. A small procedure but you have to keep an eye on people after they have had some of that anesthetic. Everything turned out well. Now I just have to teach some 4th graders about reading and math. No biggy. I have done this before. I am looking forward to being here today actually. Children are fun... even in large groups. I hope those of you who are reading this are having a great holiday season. It looks like mine is going to be a special one. Feel free to comment as you come and go.
