You would think....

You would think that with everything going on in my life, my families lives, and the world in general that to ask to have another child added to the mix would be a bit much. Almost like the straw that broke the camels back. And yet here I am asking. Not begging, or pleading, or even pestering... just asking. And with that request one might think that the way that I am asking and what I am asking for trivializes the entire issue. The truth is that it is far from it. I just never got down to the fundamental bed rock of what I am asking. Not until now. So I am asking. I am totally prepared for the worst case scenario and I am expecting it. But there is that glimmer... like a star in the night sky..... that perhaps... possibly... a miracle will occur... after all I can do... that the answer to what I ask... for me and mine will be given.
