Insects... the love and hate relationships of the yard

I have to say that I do love some insects... ex. bees, praying mantis, butterflies, and ladybugs. I don't like things that eat me, my veggies, my fruits, or my flowers. I think that everyone feels the same way. Except for maybe the bug lover out there that has unnatural relationships with wasps, spider mites, and mosquitoes. And yet I must find new and reasonable ways to kill and protect insects. It is a balancing act that I preform every year. And every year Mother Nature throws me a curve ball... this year it is scale. Arghhhhhh. Well I am on my way out to fight the good fight. Pray for me.
