There is something foul about fowl.....

It is the smell of wet chickens friends.  Great is the smell thereof... especially when you have the minor monsoon we have been having here. However, everything dries out in the end. Another disconcerting thing about these chickens is that whenever anyone comes out the back door (especially me) the chickens fly, run, jump, and scamper to meet the new arrival. I was slightly shocked when seven of them flew out of a dogwood bush right at me. DonNel thinks they just want to be fed.... I mark it up to my Axe antiperspirant and animal magnetism.  Also, a note to all you women out there: Chickens LOVE nail polish and all things shiny. Toes and fingers will be pecked. The summer is now 2/3rds over and where has it all gone..... I must be getting older.... nah.... I still have 2-a-day anxiety for football running through my veins.....good times for all.
