Wedding prep and Adoption Paperwork

My little sister is getting married on Saturday. I am hoping that it comes off without a hitch. I will be doing whatever I can to assist int he effort but there are times I think that my Mom is going a little overboard with all of the things involved. Not my call. But I am beginning to think that if the weather doesn't cooperate something bad will happen. Got brothers coming tonight and tomorrow. Bridal pictures showed up yesterday. It is hard for me to focus on adoption or anything else. The Law for background checks changed this year and we had to update ours. For the first time in my life they wanted to know if I have had any traffic tickets in the past 10 years. I have but nothing besides a speeding ticket and a tail light out. Next thing you know I will be asked what my blood test levels were like and could they please have a sample for reference. Better not give them any ideas. Lawmakers seem to get thier teeth into somthing like adoption law and they don't know when to let go. It is a bit aggravating. I hope it all works. We are on our first year with the adoption process. more or less 7 months with the flds website. Makes me wonder when is going to happen next. Only time will tell.
